What I will be buying this winter season

Hello hello my dear orange and lemon tangs!!!!!! How are you? I’m here today to tell you about my future purchases for this winter season in terms of clothing. I will be honest with you, you might feel deceived with the answer.

Nothing

Sorry guys, it is what it is. I will only purchase things that I really need and that will probably be tights for work. I honestly think everyone should slow down and reconsider what they are truly purchasing. What is the purpose of buying another pair of shoes if I have 30 pairs at home that are in perfect condition and that I haven’t worn in ages? It’s not even about trends, it’s about sustainability.

Yesterday I went to a big supermarket because I wanted to buy a couple things for my grandma before visiting her and I saw in the school uniform section a pair of charol loafers that looked so good. I immediately checked for my number but they didn’t have it, then I stopped and thought about it carefully. Do I need another pair of loafers if I have 3 at home? Shouldn’t I be wiser when purchasing these things?

The same thing happens with makeup, I have more than 15 lipsticks and I’m always looking for new ones, for what? To have the latest? Another one to the collection? I’ve made many new rules in my life and using up my products will be one of them. We are constantly buying things that we will not use and that we will keep until they expire or until someone else around us wants them.

As we turn into consumption robots, we are also never satisfied with what we buy and we feel like we need more and newer and bigger and better and more expensive. I’m not an example of minimalism, honestly, I love things and I love buying new staff, but somehow I realized things ought to change. I’m sorry that you came to this post looking for the newest pair of overknee boots from my Instagram but this is not the case.
