Hello again, my beautiful little Tangs, today I’m opening my heart to you. Traveling and living in different cities have shaped who I am today. Each place I’ve visited or lived in holds a special place in my heart, with memories that will last a lifetime. Here are my top 5 cities, each one important to me for unique reasons.

1. Aberystwyth, Wales: My First Taste of Independence

Aberystwyth is a small coastal town in Wales that holds some of my most cherished memories. I spent an Erasmus semester here, and it was my first experience living away from home. For the first time, I had the chance to be truly independent, from managing my own schedule to exploring the city on my own.

The town is known for its beautiful seafront, the stunning Aberystwyth University campus, and the impressive Constitution Hill, offering breathtaking views over the town and the sea. Though the weather can be a bit rainy, the charm of Aberystwyth is undeniable. It’s where I learned how to navigate life as an adult, made lifelong friends, and discovered a bit more about myself.

2. Perugia, Italy: The City Where I Found Friends for Life

Perugia is a magical city in the heart of Italy that I had the pleasure of visiting for a month. Despite such a short time, I left with lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences. The city’s beautiful medieval architecture, narrow streets, and lively piazzas make it a dream to explore.

One of the most famous events in Perugia is the Umbria Jazz Festival, a world-renowned music event that fills the city with energy every summer. The food is also incredible, think truffles, pasta, and of course, delicious Aperol Spritz.

I’ll always be grateful for my time in Perugia. Even though my stay was brief, it taught me the importance of making connections and cherishing the people you meet along the way. It was there that I met friends who are still very much a part of my life today.

3. Palma de Mallorca, Spain: A Beautiful Place That Feels Like Home

I got my first job in Palma de Mallorca, and it’s a city that I hold very close to my heart. Mallorca is a stunning island, known for its Mediterranean beauty, with crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches, and beautiful mountains.

While living there, I realized how much I loved the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle. The weather is perfect most of the year although summers can be challenging. Palma’s Old Town, with its historic cathedral and charming streets, adds to the city’s charm.

Palma de Mallorca is not just about the stunning landscape, it’s where I grew professionally and personally. I often think about how amazing it would be to move back and fully experience the island’s beauty and culture again.

4. Rotterdam, Netherlands: A City Full of Happy Memories

Rotterdam holds a special place in my heart for personal reasons. It’s the place where my boyfriend officially asked me out, at a lovely restaurant called Oyster Club. I have so many happy memories from this city, and it’s where our story began.

Rotterdam is known for its modern architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Unlike many Dutch cities, it was heavily bombed during World War II, and much of the city had to be rebuilt. Today, the city is a mix of sleek, contemporary buildings and beautiful parks, making it a great place to explore.

The food scene in Rotterdam is also fantastic, and I’ll always remember how we celebrated our new relationship in this vibrant city. It’s where I felt my relationship take on a new, deeper meaning, making it a place I’ll always associate with happiness and new beginnings.

5. Osnabrück, Germany: A City of Heartfelt Memories

Osnabrück is a small, charming city in Germany where I left some of my happiest memories. It might not be as famous as other cities, but it holds a very special place in my heart. I met some of the most incredible people here, and saying goodbye to them was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

The city is known for its medieval Old Town, the impressive Osnabrück Castle, and its peaceful atmosphere. It’s a place where history meets modern life—Osnabrück was one of the key cities involved in the Peace of Westphalia, which ended the Thirty Years’ War in 1648. The city’s calm vibe and beautiful surroundings make it a perfect place for reflection and personal growth.

During my time in Osnabrück, I made lifelong friends and created unforgettable memories. It will always be a place I look back on with fondness, and I often think of the people and moments that made my time there so special.

These cities may be different in size, culture, and history, but each one has played a crucial role in shaping who I am today. From the independence I gained in Aberystwyth to the unforgettable friendships I made in Perugia, every city has a unique piece of my heart. Whether it’s the magic of Palma de Mallorca, the memories in Rotterdam, or the deep connections in Osnabrück, each city will always remain an important part of my journey. I hope you enjoyed and I look forward to seeing you again very soon <3 Stay beautiful, kisses!!!!!!
